\n\tDakota Johnson<\/a> got a special visit from Patient Zero on Saturday Night Live<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> joined the Verity<\/a> actress during her opening monologue on Saturday night\u2019s episode, marking quite the surprise appearance. Johnson joked about having \u201ctwo very public, very lame breakups with two very awesome musicians\u201d since she\u2019d last been on SNL<\/a>, and how she had the most supportive friends who \u201cdon\u2019t judge me for dating these men.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCut to Swift! Johnson joked that the singer was \u201cmy literal therapist,\u201d to which the Grammy winner responded, \u201cI\u2019m not your therapist. Actually, you just show up once a week at my house with an empty bottle of wine and ask if I want some.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYeah, well I have manners,\u201d the actress said, as Swift continued, \u201cAnd then you flop on my couch and overshare, and every so often I just say, \u2018Damn, that\u2019s crazy.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIs that not a therapist?\u201d the Fifty Shades of Grey actress questioned. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn Sunday, Swift released the music video<\/a> for her new single \u201cPatient Zero,\u201d starring none other than Johnson and Colin Farrell. The two debuted the video at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, with the track serving as one of four new songs the musician released as part of The Life of a Showgirl<\/a>: Encore Edition last Friday.<\/p>\n

\n\tTo close out her monologue, Johnson concluded, \u201cWell, just quickly, while we\u2019re on the subject of musicians, I think actually I\u2019m doing a public service by dating them, because ladies, I am saving you a lot of money on Zoloft. So, you\u2019re welcome, America! And also England and parts of Ireland and Cleveland, allegedly,\u201d Johnson said, as Swift added in a quick, \u201cWoo-woo!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCleveland\u201d is another new track from Showgirl: Encore, where Swift sings about her husband Travis Kelce and their marriage. \u201cNow I\u2019m wearing white (Yeah), so hate all you like (Uh-huh) \/ This is the love of my life (Hey, hey, hey),\u201d Swift sings at the end of the song.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the top of her monologue, the Verity actress also addressed the box office bomb Madame Web<\/a>, while noting that her last SNL appearance was tied to promotion for the film. She joked, \u201cThe last time I was here, I was promoting a movie called Madame Web. And tonight, I\u2019m still promoting it. Because the movie hasn\u2019t made any money yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe cold open saw a group of \u201cRepublican heavy hitters\u201d get together to film ads ahead of the midterms. Among those who appeared were Marco Rubio, portrayed by Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez. Mikey Day also joined as Mitch McConnell, and Jeremy Culhane as J.D. Vance. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe last guest before James Austin Johnson\u2019s Trump also joined was Pete Hegseth (Colin Jost). He joined the sketch with a Bero in hand, which he described as \u201cSpider-Man\u2019s new non-alcoholic bitch beer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNow listen up, OK, \u2019cause I need all you patriots at home to do the gayest thing ever and vote,\u201d Jost\u2019s Hegseth said. \u201cThanks to me, the military finally has its priorities \u2014 and sexuality \u2014 straight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSaturday night\u2019s episode marks Johnson\u2019s third time hosting SNL. She made her debut in February 2015, and returned once more in January 2024. She\u2019s made several appearances throughout the years, including for the 40th anniversary special and a cameo during Josh O\u2019Connor\u2019s hosting stint<\/a> last December.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 52 of SNL premiered last week with New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson<\/a> and Katseye.
