SURREY VOTES: Meet your candidates for mayor, council, school board

Published 7:30 pm Sunday, October 4, 2026

With 97 names on the ballot, what’s a Surrey voter to do?

The Oct. 17 municipal election will see voters choose one mayor, eight city councillors and six school trustees.

To help you sort them all out, the Surrey-Now-Leader, Peace Arch News and Cloverdale Reporter provided candidates with questionnaires, giving them all the same word limits and given the same response deadlines. Information in the questionnaires linked below was provided by the candidates.

We’ve grouped answers by slate for those candidates running on slates (presented in alphabetical order by the mayoral candidate’s last name), followed by all the independent council candidates and school board candidates.
