Unfortunately, it will no longer be an option for those now looking for a cheaper alternative to the Shield TV Pro. Nvidia has stopped production of the standard Shield TV model and moving forward it\u2019s focusing its efforts on only manufacturing the Pro option, <a href=\"https:\/\/gizmodo.com\/nvidia-shield-tv-discontinued-2000820944\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to Gizmodo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">High demand for Nvidia\u2019s other hardware including GPUs and AI chips has been a major contributor to the dramatic price increases of components and devices over the past few years.
