SURREY, British Columbia \u2014 A new REACH Centre for Autism is expected to open in Surrey\u2019s Newton area in early 2027, expanding access to autism and developmental services for local children and families.<\/p>\n

The centre will operate from a city-owned building at 7010 King George Boulevard, which the City of Surrey is leasing to REACH Child and Youth Development Society for $1 per year for five years.<\/p>\n

The new facility is expected to offer a range of services, including autism assessments, speech and occupational therapy, counselling, parent support and assistance connecting families with other programs and resources.<\/p>\n

The centre is part of Surrey\u2019s effort to improve access to developmental and family services in Newton, where demand for autism-related supports continues to grow.<\/p>\n

REACH Child and Youth Development Society has long provided services to children and families across the South Fraser region. The Newton location will give the organization a dedicated Surrey space to deliver assessment, therapy and family support closer to residents.<\/p>\n

The centre is expected to begin operations in early 2027, with preparations underway ahead of opening.<\/p>\n
