ROME\/LONDON, Oct 6 (Reuters) – The governing board of the International Energy Agency is \u200cexpected to decide at an October \u200c14-15 meeting the details of the diesel and crude \u200boil stocks release announced by the Group of Seven last week, two people close to the matter said. <\/p>\n
G7 countries agreed last Friday \u200cto release 100 \u2060million barrels of diesel and crude oil from emergency reserves and pledged \u2060to refrain from energy export restrictions after pressure from US President Donald Trump. <\/p>\n
However they \u200bdid not \u200bprovide a breakdown \u200bof the volumes of \u200ccrude, diesel and other products to be released or say which countries would participate. <\/p>\n
One of the sources said that Italy, which is one of the members of the G7, \u200cwould be part of \u200bthe release. <\/p>\n
The IEA did \u200bnot immediately respond \u200bto a request for comment \u200con whether details will be \u200bdecided at \u200bthe board meeting. <\/p>\n
