The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is Samsung’s premium classic-style smartwatch for 2025, and it brings back one of the features many watch fans still love: the rotating bezel. There’s also a solid deal on it at Amazon right now, which makes this a good time to take a closer look.

This model pairs a stainless-steel body with a more traditional watch look, while still packing the smartwatch features Android users expect. It mainly comes in a 46mm size, with Bluetooth and LTE versions available, plus black and white or silver color options. Samsung positions it above the standard Galaxy Watch 8, giving it a more high-end feel and a more tactile way to navigate menus with its rotating bezel.

On the software side, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic runs Google Wear OS with Samsung’s latest watch software. It also adds Galaxy AI and Gemini-style assistance, along with updated health tools. For fitness and wellness, it offers sleep tracking, workout support, ECG, and blood-pressure-related tools in supported regions. Battery life is generally better than the smaller standard model, too, with typical use landing around 1.5 to more than 2 days depending on settings.

As for the deal, Amazon has the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic down to $389.99 from its $549.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 28% discount relative to the RRP, saving you $160. It’s not the lowest price we’ve seen this year, but it is the best price since the previous Prime Day, which still makes it a strong chance to grab Samsung’s top classic-style wearable for less.

Buyers need Amazon Prime to get this discount. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial here.
