Islam Dulatov made a monstrous Octagon debut earlier tonight (Sat., July 19, 2025) at UFC 318 live on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV)<\/a> from inside Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, La., putting a violent stop to welterweight Adam Fugitt with a first-round knockout (punches).<\/p>\n

After putting together an incredible outing on Dana White\u2019s Contender Series back in Oct. 2024, this was supposed to be Dulatov\u2019s coming out party. Fugitt is not a great all-around fighter and was going to give \u201cThe Ripper\u201d multiple chances to find a home for a finish. That\u2019s exactly what Dulatov did to put the UFC\u2019s jam-packed welterweight division on notice.<\/p>\n

After a few minutes of action which saw Dulatov land heavy kicks to the body and long strikes from range, \u201cRipper\u201d was able to land a beautiful check left hook that instantly put Fugitt out and sent him crashing to the canvas. Dulatov jumped on top for brutal ground-and-pound and actually woke Fugitt back up with punches before putting him out again.<\/p>\n

It was an incredible performance by Dulatov who has now won 12-straight fights all by way of knockout or submission. Check out his work from Saturday below:<\/p>\n
