Conservatives following resurfaced social media posts dubbed as \u201chorrific racism\u201d from Surrey Centre NDP candidate Amna Shah.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Oct. 8, Shah posted a number of screenshots on X of three of Agou\u2019s social media posts, one sympathizing with Donald Trump, Elon Musk and other right-wing politicians from the U.S. and Europe, a second about London, U.K.\u2019s Pakistani population and a third supporting the driver who plowed through a pro-Palestine protest in Switzerland in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbsolutely horrific racism from this Conservative candidate,\u201d noted Shah <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/amnashahbc\/status\/2108256282566336972\/video\/2\" rel=\"nofollow\">in the X post<\/a>, adding that leader of the BC Conservatives, Lorne Doerkson, should \u201cfire this candidate immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shah got her wish, with Doerkson releasing a statement saying Agou is no longer a candidate for the party.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no excuse for this. I will not tolerate it. The candidate in Victoria-Beacon Hill is no longer a Conservative candidate.
