Things got wild.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Lemoine \u00a0\u2013 who you may remember from, among other things, his <a href=\"https:\/\/cyclingmagazine.ca\/mtb\/watch-tomas-lemoines-absolutely-wild-jump-at-red-bull-joyride\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">huge send over the entire on-off ramp during Red Bull Joyride in Whister<\/a> \u2013 had already turned heads with his build during dig days. His massive canyon gap, with the extremely committing entry and no-fall span over a vast open space, is the talk of this year\u2019s Rampage.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, he hit it for the first time. Just the entry speed into the drop before the canyon gap, after which there is no stopping and no backing out, is terrifying. That\u2019s before Lemoine launches across the void.<\/p>\n<p>Lemoine didn\u2019t ride it out in practice on Friday. He slammed hard going off line on the extremely narrow run-out. But he was back on his feet quickly and walking around. So hopefully he\u2019s all good for finals.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here\u2019s a couple angles of this truly gnarly send.
