Opting for a one-stop strategy that saw him on old soft tyres at the end, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpblog.com\/en\/news\/hamilton-frustrated-as-he-gets-stuck-behind-leclerc-at-the-singapore-grand-prix\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hamilton lost his P3 starting position<\/a>, and ultimately finished P6 &#8211; losing a place to Oscar Piastri on the final lap.
