October 3, 2026

“I like the sound of that. That would be awesome and really cool,” Caroline told the Press Association.

“I don’t know if that has ever been done before – a brother and sister as undisputed world champions and dominating in their respective weight categories and divisions.

“Obviously to say we were the face of boxing and British boxing, I’d be very happy with that.

“Yeah, it would be awesome and amazing. I’d be really happy if we could achieve that.”

Both Dubois siblings have undisputed plans on the agenda for 2027 but Wardley will try to gain revenge on Saturday.

Wardley and Dubois produced a thriller at Co-op Live in Manchester back in May in a critical fight for the latter to win after he lost comprehensively to Oleksandr Usyk last year.

For Caroline Dubois, it was no surprise to see her brother take on a big challenge and succeed, she said: “Daniel has done a really good job of rebuilding himself time and time again and being brave I think.

“That is something that stands out. He always throws himself into the hardest fights and one thing I have always admired about Daniel is he has never run from anyone.

“I remember in the amateurs there was a whole rivalry with him and this is going way back, but Viddal Riley was a killer back in the day.

“I remember Viddal was in a certain weight division and they were telling Daniel you should move down so you can both be national champions, but Daniel was like, ‘nah, I want to fight Viddal’ and he has carried that mentality into the professionals.

“He wants to be involved in hard fights and that is one of the reasons why he has been so successful because he has consistently been so brave and always fought in the hardest fights.”

After watching big brother Dubois headline at O2, Caroline has similar plans for 2027.

She added: “Well, Stephanie Han gives me the opportunity to go over to fight in America and build my name over there.

“Alysia (Baumgardner) is an American fighter but she has done a really good job of building her name in the UK and fighting in the UK so many times. I think that would be a good opportunity for me to have the big fight in the UK. And the place and venue in my head is O2.”
