The light heavyweight contender revealed that he has not heard anything from the matchmakers and plans to fight elsewhere before the year ends. \u00a0He has one fight left in the UFC <\/a>and has not been in the Octagon since beating Azamat Murzakanov<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n Paulo Costa plans to fight before the year ends\u00a0<\/p>\n The 35-year-old \u00a0recently shared a post on X with a cryptic message:<\/p>\n \u201cNothing from the UFC. I\u2019m going to fight at an event at the end of the year. I\u2019m in great shape and in my prime. I\u2019m going to do what I love\u2014fight somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Paulo Costa has not revealed where or when he will fight next. ‘The Eraser’ is currently ranked No. 4 in the 205-pound division, but the UFC has yet to confirm his next fight.\u00a0 Since he is still under contract with the UFC, he cannot fight for another MMA promotion. However, he can compete in wrestling or grappling matches under banners such as Hype FC or RAF.<\/p>\n Over the past few months, Costa has repeatedly called for a fight and criticised UFC officials, including Hunter Campbell<\/a>, on podcasts, shows, and social media. He wants to stay busy but has claimed that the promotion does not want him to. ‘The Eraser’ has also complained about low fighter pay. However, Dana White has said that Costa has been offered many fights, which the 35-year-old turned down.<\/p>\n Paulo Costa Demands Title Shot<\/p>\n Paulo Costa has one fight left on his UFC contract, as mentioned before, and wants it to be a title fight. A few minutes earlier, he posted a clip of himself knocking out the previously undefeated Azamat Murzakanov and captioned it:<\/p>\n “I PROMISED. I DELIVERED. GIVE ME MY BELT. “<\/p>\n <\/p>\n UFC Light heavyweight Champion Carlos Ulberg<\/a> is still recovering from an ACL injury.
