U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a deal to import Russian diesel as fuel prices soar, reversing course on sanctions against Moscow. Ukraine is condemning the move, warning it will directly benefit Russian President Vladimir Putin.<\/p>\n

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump was asked whether anyone had told him Russia could use proceeds \u200bof the diesel deal to purchase more \u2060bombs. “No, nobody told me anything,” he responded, adding the deal benefited not just the U.S. but the world. <\/p>\n
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said on Monday that Russia will be able to return diesel exports to levels above those Trump had outlined under the deal.<\/p>\n
