I\u2019m glad to see you\u2019re OK.\u2019 But I\u2019m not doing well. I\u2019m not OK. But I believe that\u2019s OK, because I\u2019m trying my best,\u201d the popular TikTok librarian told his 1 million followers. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy brain is very loud. My feelings are very big. I believe I am running out of time. I don\u2019t know how much time I have left,\u201d Threets continued, before noting that he\u2019s \u201cgoing to keep on trying to find joy each and every day.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo matter what happens, I believe joy is out there for me. Joy is there for you. I am going to pursue joy relentlessly with all the time I have left. I want to stay. I\u2019m trying to stay. I am asking for help. I am asking for joy. I am seizing hope. I\u2019m on a journey to OK, to keep on to tomorrow, each and every day. I\u2019m trying to stay.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He then deeply thanked his fans, adding, \u201cThank you for staying. We\u2019re still here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Threets received an outpouring of support when he told his fans in August that he was seeking medical treatment. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not okay. Maybe I\u2019ll never be okay. I\u2019m seeking help,\u201d Threets wrote in an Aug. 17 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/mychal-threets-reading-rainbow-hospital_n_6a85d198e4b0f5925a1322ac\" role=\"link\" class=\" js-entry-link cet-internal-link\" data-vars-item-name=\"Threads post\" data-vars-item-type=\"text\" data-vars-unit-name=\"6ace4ff8e4b0447f8d48c384\" data-vars-unit-type=\"buzz_body\" data-vars-target-content-id=\"6a85d198e4b0f5925a1322ac\" data-vars-target-content-type=\"buzz\" data-vars-type=\"web_internal_link\" data-vars-subunit-name=\"article_body\" data-vars-subunit-type=\"component\" data-vars-position-in-subunit=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Threads post<\/a>. \u201cGoing to the hospital tomorrow. In this moment I am safe. By God\u2019s grace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The beloved librarian, who hosts the \u201cReading Rainbow\u201d reboot, continued, \u201cNo matter what happens to me I will always be thankful for the extraordinary people in my life who worry, who help me. Thank you for your care.
