His clearest opportunity remains Dubois\u2019 vulnerability when caught clean. Those two early knockdowns give Wardley a reason to believe he can end the fight before cuts or swelling restrict his vision. Chasing that finish recklessly would also expose him to the punches he needs to avoid.<\/p>\n
Smith would accept Wardley walking away afterward.<\/p>\n

Wardley hasn\u2019t announced retirement plans. His immediate challenge is finding a way to finish Dubois\u2014or showing enough tactical improvement to keep that clock from running out.<\/p>\n
