The first-ever \u201cSuper Bowl Night\u201d on \u201cDancing With the Stars\u201d<\/a> resulted in game over for a fan-favorite pair hoping to win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.<\/p>\n

Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson were sent home after dancing a Salsa to \u201cTit\u00ed Me Pregunt\u00f3\u201d by Bad Bunny, which received a total score of 22\/40 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli \u2014 plus guest judge Joe Buck \u2014 putting them at the bottom of the leaderboard.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a lot of fun. It was great,\u201d the \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d star said after his elimination. \u201cWitney, I love you for teaching me how to dance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carson thanked Rodriguez for \u201cmaking this season just so fun, so enjoyable\u201d and praised him for taking care of her \u2014 and her unborn baby<\/a> \u2014 \u201cthroughout this entire season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess were in danger of going home, but survived to compete another week.<\/p>\n

Throughout the evening, the Season 35 contestants and their pro partners performed to songs that celebrated the \u201cmusic, spectacle and unforgettable moments of the big game.\u201d<\/p>\n

The episode \u2014 which saw a cameo by \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum Justin Baldoni and his family<\/a> \u2014 served as a preview for what fans can expect in February 2027, when Super Bowl LXI airs on ABC and ESPN.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Traitors\u201d alum Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas kicked off the night with a Tango to \u201cOnly Girl (In the World)\u201d by Rihanna, which Tonioli called \u201cthrilling from start to finish.\u201d They scored a 33\/40.<\/p>\n

Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov performed a Samba to \u201cMi Gente\u201d by J Balvin & Willy William and garnered praise from Inaba, who said the Olympian gold medalist \u201cate,\u201d and Buck, who called the routine \u201chot.\u201d They scored a 34\/40.<\/p>\n

\u201cBachelor Nation\u201d star Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess wowed with their Jazz routine to \u201cThe Time (Dirty Bit)\u201d by Black Eyed Peas. Tonioli praised Cameron for channeling \u201cDirty Dancing\u201d and Gene Kelly, and the pair earned a 30\/40.<\/p>\n

Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa performed an epic Jazz routine to the former\u2019s \u201cHustlers\u201d co-star Jennifer Lopez\u2019s hit song \u201cJenny From the Block [Track Masters Remix],\u201d feat. Jadakiss and Styles P. They scored a 33\/40 for their routine, which Tonioli called Stiles\u2019 \u201cbest one so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFresh Prince of Bel-Air\u201d alum Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik received a 29\/40 for their Salsa to \u201cSquabble Up\u201d by Kendrick Lamar. Derek called the routine \u201ctoo laid back\u201d and the song \u201ca little slow\u201d for the style.<\/p>\n

Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Paso Doble to \u201cBad Romance\u201d by Lady Gaga \u2014 which the \u201cStep Up\u201d actress previously performed during a 2023 appearance on \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.\u201d<\/a> The pair scored a 36\/40 for their routine, with Buck saying he \u201cforgot who the pro is.\u201d <\/p>\n

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson performed a Samba to \u201cYeah!\u201d by Usher \u2014 whom the \u201cGlee\u201d alum has often credited for inspiring him to dance \u2014 feat. Lil Jon and Ludacris, earning a 33\/40. Derek called it a \u201cfantastic\u201d performance, while Inaba dinged the duo for a lift in a tense exchange.<\/p>\n

Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach closed the show with a Salsa to \u201cHot in Herre\u201d by Nelly \u2014 whom Karagach was previously paired with during Season 29 of the dance competition show, her debut season. They received a total score of 36\/40 for their routine, with Tonioli praising the Paralympian gold medalist for delivering a \u201csmoldering\u201d performance.<\/p>\n

This season has already seen a couple shocking eliminations, first with Hanson singer Taylor Hanson<\/a> and most recently with \u201cSummer House\u201d star Ciara Miller<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier this season, \u201cSecret Lives of Mormon Wives\u201d star Conner Leavitt<\/a>, \u201cLove Thy Nader\u201d star Sarah Jane Nader<\/a> and celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis<\/a> were sent packing.<\/p>\n

New episodes of \u201cDWTS\u201d air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, and stream on Hulu the following day.<\/p>\n
