The Tkachuk brothers made NHL history in a Tuesday night win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.<\/p>\n

Brady Tkachuk scored three consecutive goals, on which Matthew Tkachuk registered three assists, in the Florida Panthers’ 7-3 victory.<\/p>\n

He is the first player in NHL history to have his brother assist on every goal of a natural hat trick, according to NHL PR.<\/p>\n

Brady is also the ninth player in NHL history to have his brother set up three goals of a hat trick, and the first since Daniel Sedin scored on three helpers from Henrik Sedin in 2015, according to the NHL<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Panthers were trailing 1-0 in Columbus when Brady recorded the third-fastest<\/a> hat trick in franchise history in just over eight minutes of the second period.<\/p>\n

His initial goal marked the first time the Tkachuk brothers had combined for a tally since playing for Team USA during the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics.<\/p>\n

Brady is the eighth<\/a> Panthers player to record a natural hat trick, and the first since Matthew in 2024.<\/p>\n

The Tkachuk brothers both assisted on a Carter Verhaeghe goal later in the second frame. Matthew set a franchise record<\/a> for assists in a single period with the helper.<\/p>\n

Matthew also assisted on a goal from Sam Reinhart early in the third period. He (0-5\u20145) and Brady (3-1\u20144) finished the game as the first pair of brothers and teammates since the Sedin twins in 2015 to combine for nine points in a single game.<\/p>\n

Brady had recorded just a single assist through his first six games with Matthew and the Panthers prior to his four-point outing Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

“For sure, felt that pressure… felt like I wasn’t doing my job, and wasn’t good enough, but knew eventually it was going to come,” Brady told ESPN after the Panthers’ win.<\/p>\n

Brady’s best night as a Panther came at a crucial time for a franchise that had dropped four of its last five games while losing key players including Aleksander Barkov and Brad Marchand to injury.<\/p>\n
