{"id":932760,"date":"2026-10-14T13:36:12","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T13:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/932760\/"},"modified":"2026-10-14T13:36:12","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T13:36:12","slug":"one-lane-on-mercier-bridge-closed-indefinitely-due-to-crack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/932760\/","title":{"rendered":"One lane on Mercier bridge closed indefinitely due to crack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One lane on the Honor\u00e9-Mercier\u00a0bridge Montreal bound was closed Tuesday night indefinitely.<\/p>\n<p>The closure was due to a crack that was found on one of the bridge\u2019s steel beams.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement Transport Quebec said the crack was found on Tuesday during maintenance work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter inspecting the beam on Tuesday afternoon, it was determined that one of the two lanes (the left lane) would need to be closed for an indefinite period.
