{"id":933092,"date":"2026-10-14T19:56:26","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T19:56:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/933092\/"},"modified":"2026-10-14T19:56:26","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T19:56:26","slug":"nielsen-american-soccer-fandom-soars-after-2026-fifa-world-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/933092\/","title":{"rendered":"Nielsen: American soccer fandom soars after 2026 FIFA World Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Soccer fandom in the United States continues to rise after the 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/competitions\/fifa-world-cup\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FIFA World Cup<\/a>, with new Nielsen research providing yet another encouraging sign.<\/p>\n<p>Nielsen\u2019s proprietary Fan Insights data show that the number of people identifying as soccer fans in the U.S. jumped from 66.8 million in July 2025 to 75.2 million in July 2026.
