Anne Heche\u2019s son Homer Laffoon continues to be a \u201cdeadbeat dad\u201d despite his almost-3-year-old son\u2019s autism diagnosis, the child\u2019s mother, Jessica Lamberto, exclusively claimed to Page Six.<\/p>\n
Lamberto shared with us that their son, Rocco, is nonverbal, has global developmental delay (GDD) and was recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) level 2, which requires substantial support.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m still in shock with Rocco being diagnosed, even though I already knew. As a mother, I knew,\u201d the 42-year-old lamented. \u201cBut hearing it confirmed just shattered my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

She is also awaiting the results of his recent MRI.<\/p>\n
Lamberto, who described herself as a \u201csingle mom,\u201d and Rocco live with her mother in Reche Canyon, California. The former told us she spends her days driving the toddler to intensive physical, occupational, speech and behavioral therapy appointments \u201cevery day of the week.\u201d<\/p>\n
She branded Laffoon, 24, a \u201cs\u2013ty person\u201d who has \u201cfailed\u201d his only child, as he has allegedly \u201cnever, ever, ever\u201d reached out to check on him. Lamberto told us she\u2019d \u201cnever forgive\u201d Laffoon for being an absentee parent.<\/p>\n

Page Six can confirm that Riverside County\u2019s Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) has an open child support case against Laffoon on behalf of Lamberto.<\/p>\n
As recently as August, DCSS notified her that he had not yet been served, telling her in part, \u201cAt this time, we may not have enough information to identify or locate the parent ordered to pay support.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lamberto told us she\u2019d like to \u201cexplore\u201d additional evaluations, specialists, testing and functional and integrative medical care as well as nutritional support for Rocco, but \u201cunfortunately, many of these opportunities aren\u2019t covered by [her] insurance.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has finally \u201creached the point\u201d of accepting that she \u201ccan\u2019t do everything alone,\u201d so she\u2019s launching a GoFundMe to help cover the mounting costs of her son\u2019s specialized needs.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m just so burnt out. It\u2019s nonstop. I don\u2019t even feel like myself anymore. I\u2019m so just mentally and emotionally exhausted. I can\u2019t tell you how tired I am,\u201d Lamberto explained through tears, making sure to stress that her beautiful boy \u2014 who is \u201cso much more than his diagnosis\u201d \u2014 keeps her going.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe loves giving me huge morning hugs and laying his head on my chest. He makes silly faces and does funny little dances because he knows they will make me laugh,\u201d she gushed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe loves being outside, helping his grandma water the garden, exploring flowers and plants, and going on evening walks with his German shepherd.\u201d<\/p>\n
Even though Rocco \u201cdoesn\u2019t use words\u201d \u2014 yet \u2014 Lamberto emphasized that he\u2019s \u201cso smart\u201d and \u201cunderstands everything\u201d she says.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has a beautiful personality,\u201d she marveled. \u201cHe loves deeply.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lamberto was friends with Laffoon when she found out she was pregnant with his child about six months after Heche died in a tragic car accident<\/a> in August 2022 at age 53. Laffoon and his 17-year-old half-brother, Atlas Tupper, became equal beneficiaries of the actress\u2019 estate.<\/p>\n Lamberto told us that Laffoon \u2014 who serves as an executive assistant at Los Angeles-based media company John Wells Productions \u2014 was initially undecided about how involved he wanted to be in both the pregnancy and birth.<\/p>\n
