From neighbourhood cafes to long-standing family-owned restaurants, the city has taken quite the hit in terms of closures. We\u2019ve got all the details.<\/p>\n
Pho Song Huong came to north-side Edmonton in 2005 and has since grown into a reliable spot for great Vietnamese food and authentic dishes. In late 2025, the business announced it\u2019d be closing, but was able to stick around until September 2026.<\/p>\n
As of Sept. 26, 2026, Pho Song is officially closed. In Pho Song\u2019s stead, Pho Queen Royal, a new Vietnamese restaurant, opened on Oct. 1.<\/p>\n

Instagram<\/a><\/p>\n Island Brew Coffee House was a local community cafe with a Caribbean take on its food and drinks that you could find on 124th Street.<\/p>\n After several years of business, this cafe\u2019s chapter officially came to a close.
