Thursday\u2019s forecast calls for a chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.<\/p>\n

Environment and Climate Change Canada says the morning is expected to bring cloudy conditions to Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa, Burlington and the Niagara Falls area.<\/p>\n

The weather agency says to expect 20 km\/h winds in the morning across the GTA. The daytime temperature will be around 13 C in Mississauga, and the UV index will be 3 or \u201cmoderate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Environment Canada says the seasonal normal for Oct. 15 is between 4 C and 13 C in Mississauga.<\/p>\n

Thursday evening could bring showers, with a 40 per cent chance in Toronto, Mississauga and much of southern Ontario. Showers will be followed by periods of rain, and there\u2019s a risk of thunderstorms overnight.<\/p>\n

Between 10 to 15 mm of rain could fall in the GTA and surrounding areas, the weather agency says. WInds could reach up to 20 km\/h in the evening, ding down around midnight.<\/p>\n

More showers are expected throughout the day on Friday in Mississauga, with windy conditions possible. The high will be around 14 C while the low will be 0 C.<\/p>\n

Temperatures are expected to warm again on the weekend. Saturday\u2019s forecast calls for sunny skies, a high of 10 C and a low of 1 C. Sunday will also be sunny with a high of 15 C, and a low of 5 C.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to early next week, Monday is expected to bring a mix of sun and clouds to Mississauga with a high of 16 C during the day. Monday night will be cloudy with a low of 5 C.<\/p>\n
