Cloudy skies will linger into the evening before clearing overnight, when temperatures are forecast to dip to 1C, with a risk of frost.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will bring a return to sunshine, although it will feel considerably cooler. With a high of just 7 C and northwest winds gusting to 40 km\/h, residents can expect a brisk autumn day. Skies will clear overnight, with temperatures falling to around 0 C.<\/p>\n<p>The outlook improves considerably on Sunday, with sunny skies and a high of 14 C. The mild, settled conditions are expected to continue into the new week, offering a welcome break from Friday\u2019s rain.<\/p>\n<p>Monday is forecast to be the warmest day of the period, with temperatures reaching 17 C under sunny skies. Highs will remain seasonal and comfortable through Tuesday and Wednesday, at 16 C and 14 C respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Sunshine is expected to continue through Thursday, when the high is forecast to reach 14 C. Overnight lows will gradually ease from 8 C on Sunday night to between 5 C and 7 C during the first half of the week.<\/p>\n<p>After a wet finish to the workweek and a chilly start to the weekend, the extended forecast points to a prolonged stretch of dry, sunny autumn weather.
