PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men’s soccer team will resume Ivy League play on Saturday when it travels to Philadelphia to take on the Penn Quakers. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. from Rhodes Field.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Bears had a break in conference play this week, defeating Lehigh 3-1 on Tuesday night.
\n\tCarlo Brown<\/a> earned his first career brace after scoring the first and last goals of the game, while Mateo Pereyra<\/a> scored the second goal of the game, and first of the season.\u00a0
\n\tBrown limited Lehigh to just three shots, with only one on target over the full 90 minutes.
\n\tBrown ranks third in the Ivy League in assists, averaging 1.636 per game. The Bears also rank fourth in points (4.36), goals (1.364), and goals allowed (1.09).
\n\tThe goalkeeper tandem of Graham Kois<\/a> and Max Pfaffman<\/a> rank among the Ivy League’s top 10 in goals against average, saves, shutouts per game, and saves per game.
\n\tThe Bears look to earn their first conference win on Saturday night.

\n\tMarco Bottene leads Penn in scoring with 13 points. He also leads the Ivy League in goals with 6.\u00a0
\n\tPenn ranks second in the conference in points (5.00) and goals (1.800). The Quakers rank third in shots (12.40) and saves (3.20).
\n\tGoalkeeper Phillip Falcon III is third in the Ivy League in saves per game with 3.20. He ranks fifth in saves (.711) and shutouts per game (.300).
\n\tIn Ivy play so far, the Quakers have defeated Dartmouth (1-0), tied with Yale (1-1), and fell to then-ranked No. 22 Cornell (5-3).

\n\tThe Bears hold a 33-30-12 record over the Quakers, dating back to 1910.
\n\tBrown last beat Penn in 2021, when they defeated the Quakers 2-0.
