The city will be bringing in more tweaks to over a dozen bus routes as part of ongoing work to better meet rider\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n

Starting in November, more than 20 Brampton Transit and Z\u00fcm routes across the city will see changes to schedules and adjustments \u201cfor operational changes, updated schedules, improved service reliability or to align with ridership demand,\u201d the city says.<\/p>\n

Brampton Transit makes changes to routes every few months, and the city says riders should check their route and schedule before heading out.<\/p>\n

Here are all the upcoming changes coming to Brampton Transit starting on Nov. 2.<\/p>\n

Weekday schedules on the following routes will be adjusted to improve service reliability:<\/p>\n

511 Z\u00fcm Steeles.
\n2 Main.
\n4\/4C Chinguacousy.
\n5\/5A Bovaird.
\n26 Mount Pleasant.
\n29 Williams.
\n35 Clarkway.
\n50\/50A Gore Road.
\n52 McMurchy.
\n53 Ray Lawson.
\n54 County Court.
\n58 Financial.
\n60 Mississauga Road.
\n104 Chinguacousy Express.<\/p>\n

Saturday schedules on the following routes will be adjusted to improve service reliability:<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, the Heart Lake Bus Terminal located on Conestoga Drive was temporarily closed for upgrade projects, including accessibility enhancements, new boarding platforms with indicator surfaces, new lighting and updated tactile walking surfaces.<\/p>\n

The temporary closure has led to bus stops within the terminal relocated to nearby on-street locations. The construction is expected to last through to the end of the year, and the city says local residents and transit riders can expect noise due to the improvement work.<\/p>\n

Last year saw a 13 per cent drop in Brampton Transit revenues, leading to significant route changes and updates in 2026. Several routes were suspended in April due to low ridership.<\/p>\n
