\nThe Continentals’ duo qualified for the ITA Cup by winning three matches and advancing to the semifinals in the ITA Division III Women’s Northeast Regional Championship at Skidmore College in early October. Farah and Qian replaced the draw’s runners-up from Saint Francis University (Pa.), which was not allowed send anyone to the ITA Cup because its athletic program is transitioning from Division I to Division III. Farah and Qian were the highest seeded doubles team out of the two semifinalists that didn’t play in the final.
