The season finale of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup gets underway in Portim\u00e3o at 6.00 pm German time (5.00 pm local time in Portugal). A staggering 61 cars will compete in the world\u2019s largest and most prestigious GT racing series. Alongside nine-time Motorcycle World Champion Valentino Rossi, who is competing in all ten race weekends, four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen will be making his debut in the SRO-organised series.<\/p>\n
Fans have several ways to follow the race. As with every race weekend, the SRO will broadcast the race on its GT World YouTube channel in several languages. The broadcast will be available in German and English, amongst others. The races in the GT2 European Series, the GT4 European Series and the McLaren Trophy Europe \u2013 which are taking place on the Algarve coast as part of the supporting programme \u2013 can also be watched there.<\/p>\n The German stream will be commentated on by the two up-and-coming commentators Sebastian Wauer and Luis Dolle. The English-language commentary by David Addison and Joe Osborne is particularly popular with fans. Addison is regarded as a linguistic genius and one of the world\u2019s best motorsport commentators, whilst Osborne, as a long-standing McLaren works driver, brings a wealth of experience from GT3 racing and conveys it with a touch of humour. <\/p>\n The race broadcast begins at 5.30 pm German time, half an hour before the start of the race.<\/p>\n The race can also be watched on SKY Sport F1 on German pay-TV. The pay-TV channel will broadcast the German-language commentary from the SRO live stream. Here too, the broadcast begins at 5.30 pm German time.<\/p>\n Max Verstappen moves up one place on the grid<\/p>\n Max Verstappen\u2019s team has benefited from the fact that the times set by Maxime Oosten, Nicolas Baert and Eduardo Coseteng in the Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3 were disallowed following qualifying due to a technical fault.
