The Ottawa Senators will look for their seventh win in a row against the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night. The Senators have not lost against the Flyers since November 2024.<\/p>\n
On the other side, the Flyers are also winless this season, entering Saturday\u2019s matchup with an 0-6-3 record. That being said, the Senators are cognizant of the desperation they\u2019ll see against an opponent who made it to the second round of the playoffs last season and entered the year with high expectations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey haven\u2019t had the start they\u2019ve wanted. Playing in their building, they\u2019re going to be a desperate team, and they\u2019re a good team,\u201d said Travis Green. \u201cThey had a good year last year, things haven\u2019t gone well, we\u2019re going to need to be ready to go tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Jake Sanderson is close to a return \u2014 Green expects him to play on Wednesday \u2014 the defenceman returning from injury on Saturday will instead be Nikolas Matinpalo, who will return to the lineup after a two-game absence.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust play my game, kind of. It\u2019s not too far away, six, seven days, so it\u2019s easy to come back,\u201d said Matinpalo about his mindset for the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course, we\u2019ve had some injuries, so everybody needs to play with everybody.
