\nMalott<\/a>\u2019s patience paid off as he knocked out Joaquin
\nBuckley<\/a> in the main event of UFC Edmonton at Rogers Place in
\nEdmonton, Alberta, on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

\noffense early, but the pace increased in the second, when Malott

\nMalott (15-2-1) brought the crowd to its feet with a knee to
\nBuckley\u2019s jaw midway through the second round, sending the
\nAmerican\u2019s mouthpiece flying. Buckley fell face-first to the
\ncanvas, and Malott followed with a punch before the stoppage at
\n2:32. Buckley dropped to 21-9, while Malott strengthened his case
\nfor a place in the welterweight top 10.<\/p>\n
\nJasudavicius<\/a> took another step toward a flyweight title shot
\nwith a unanimous decision over Erin
\nBlanchfield<\/a>. Jasudavicius controlled the first two rounds with
\ntakedowns and submission attempts but could not secure a finish.
\nBlanchfield (14-3) rallied with clean punches in the third, but all
\nthree judges scored the fight 29-28 for Jasudavicius, who improved

\nin his UFC debut. Perez (16-2) mixed a knee into a flurry of

\nBoser<\/a> dominated Jhonata
\nDiniz<\/a> before
\nstopping him late in the third round<\/a>. Boser (23-11-1)
\nrepeatedly took Diniz down and landed ground-and-pound until
\nreferee Jason Herzog intervened at 4:26. Diniz fell to 9-3, closing
\na preliminary card in which every bout ended inside the
\ndistance.<\/p>\n
\nGalanti<\/a> submitted Julien
\nLeblanc<\/a> in 86 seconds. Galanti (9-1) secured an early takedown,
\nmaintained control and
\nworked his way to the back before forcing a tap with a face
\ncrank<\/a>. Leblanc dropped to 10-4.<\/p>\n
\nFaglier<\/a> rallied to stop Javad
\nMahjoub<\/a> in the second round. Mahjoub (5-1) hurt Faglier
\nrepeatedly in the first but could not finish him. Faglier (7-0)
\nattacked the body as Mahjoub tired,
\nthen overwhelmed him with punches<\/a> until referee Marc Goddard<\/a>

\nCerminara<\/a> stopped Mackenzie
\nStiller<\/a> late in the first round. Cerminara (19-6) used her
\nreach to keep Stiller at bay before hurting her with a left head
\nkick along the fence. Stiller (6-2) tried to retreat, but
\nCerminara followed with punches<\/a> until referee Luke Boutin<\/a>

\nKoslow<\/a> controlled Chad
\nAnheliger<\/a> for much of their bantamweight bout
\nbefore submitting him with a rear-naked choke<\/a>. Koslow (7-1)
\nscored repeated takedowns and landed the cleaner strikes on the
