Region of Peel\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) have arrested and charged a second suspect in connection with a stabbing investigation in Mississauga.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Aug. 29, at approximately 5 p.m., police responded to a stabbing in the area of Dundas Street West and Parkerhill Road in Mississauga. Investigators determined that a road rage incident in a parking lot escalated into a confrontation between the occupants of two vehicles, resulting in two individuals being stabbed. Both victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
Shortly after the incident, uniformed officers located and arrested one of the suspects, Ali Halimi, a 30-year-old man from Mississauga. He was arrested and charged with one count of Assault.
