Liam Lawson\u2019s future in Formula One remains uncertain. Although the New Zealander has been in good form this year \u2013 he heads into the next race weekend in Austin in ninth place in the World Championship \u2013 Nevertheless, he cannot be certain of his seat for 2027, as Nikola Tsolov, a Red Bull Junior, is on the verge of promotion to Formula 1 \u2013 a prospect the energy drink manufacturer\u2019s management cannot simply ignore. The Bulgarian is contesting his first full Formula 2 season this year and currently sits second in the overall standings.<\/p>\n
All of that will take a back seat for Lawson on Thursday ahead of the race weekend in Texas, however. The Racing Bulls driver will be taking to the stage at \u2018Inn Cahoots\u2019 in Austin as part of the \u2018Garage Sessions\u2019 to showcase his guitar skills. The performance also marks the launch of a partnership with \u2018Taylor Guitars\u2019, who are providing Lawson with a custom-made LL30 GS Mini for the gig.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old is looking forward to his performance, which he\u2019ll be sharing with his brother and two friends he grew up with. \u201cIt feels as though I\u2019ve come full circle,\u201d says the GP rider. \u201cMusic has been an important part of my life since childhood, as my father played in a band and has encouraged me and my brother to pick up instruments ourselves since we were six.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lawson also revealed that music helps him clear his head. \u201cAnd now I\u2019m really looking forward to being on stage and connecting with the fans away from the racetrack.
