Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have spoken out about their son Presley\u2019s tragic death at 27<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother,\u201d a tribute posted to the model\u2019s Instagram<\/a> Sunday read, featuring a black-and-white photo of Presley with angel wings.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever. We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother,\u201d the model wrote via an Instagram statement Sunday. cindycrawford\/instagram<\/p>\n

Crawford expressed her family\u2019s gratitude for \u201cthe outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTil we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad and Kaia \ud83e\udebd,\u201d the statement concluded. <\/p>\n

Presley died at an undisclosed rehab facility of a suspected overdose<\/a> on Sept. 20. A cause of death has yet to be confirmed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He\u2019s survived by his actress\/model sister Kaia, 25, as well as his former supermodel mother, 60, and businessman father, 64. The couple tied the knot in 1998 and welcomed Presley in 1999, as their oldest child and only son.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the years before his passing, Presley talked openly about his addiction battles and mental health struggles<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During a 2023 appearance on the\u00a0\u201cStudio 22\u201d podcast<\/a>, Presley noted that he struggled with \u201cmental health, depression and some other things that come along with that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also noted that he spent \u201ca lot\u201d of time in therapy trying to \u201clook into myself\u201c over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is such a big part of my life. It\u2019s a 24\/7 job, and there\u2019s so much to it.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Per The List<\/a>, he took to Instagram Stories in 2024 to talk about \u201cdealing with [a] current, very high opioid addiction.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March, Presley wrote that he had \u201cstarted finding [his] way back to [him]self,\u201d adding via Instagram, \u201cWe shall see. Praying it\u2019s the last time I have to come back [to treatment]. Next time I\u2019d like to choose.\u201d<\/p>\n

One month before Presley\u2019s passing, Kaia praised her brother<\/a> for sharing his struggles publicly<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn\u2019t share anything \u2014 and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, \u2018I\u2019m gonna be very human for everyone,\u2019\u201d she told Vogue<\/a> in August 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Shards\u201d actress noted that Presley\u2019s issues were, \u201cwhy I started to self-\u200bidentify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help.\u201d<\/p>\n

When news of Presley\u2019s death broke on Sunday, Kaia and her parents released a joint statement requesting \u201cprivacy during this very difficult and painful time.\u201d<\/p>\n
