(VOCM News)<\/p>\n<p>Peverill says the most difficult part of the race was the final stretch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first hill is pretty nasty, but I don\u2019t think anything takes Signal Hill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He says as soon as you get on the hill, you start questioning whether you can finish it.<\/p>\n<p>Cochrane, who was 9th overall, says the toughest part for her was closer to the middle of the route.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe toughest part is the downhill coming through Shea Heights because you feel like your legs are about to explode,\u201d Cochrane said.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/cape-to-cabot-katheryn-cochrane-ma.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-313661\" class=\"wp-image-313661 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/cape-to-cabot-katheryn-cochrane-ma.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"400\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-313661\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Katheryn Cochrane crossing finish line with a big smile on her face. 2026 Cape to Cabot race.
