The former UFC bantamweight entered the Prudential Center in hopes of giving the home state fans in New Jersey plenty to smile about. \u201cEl Terror\u201d delivered a right hand upstairs that floored Meyer for the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bareknucklefc\/status\/2111835182517141611\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">fourth-round finish<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With the win this past Saturday, Rivera has improved his bare-knuckle boxing record to 4-2-1. Rivera could find himself back in the BKFC featherweight title picture after falling short in his championship bout against Kai Stewart back in Nov. 2024, but that\u2019s only if he wants to make his comeback a bit more full-time.<\/p>\n<p>Rivera initially retired from combat sports after defeating Timmt Mason back in 2025, but he told reporters that he wasn\u2019t sure if he was truly satisfied with walking away. He decided to go to war again since BKFC returned to New Jersey. Rivera also admitted that it was difficult for him to end his prizefighting career.<\/p>\n<p>Rivera\u2019s BKFC run as a whole has been a mixed bag. His promotional debut ended in a majority draw against Howard Davis back in 2022. He defeated Bekhzod Usmonov the following year via unanimous decision. Rivera made a brief jump to lightweight in a losing effort against fellow ex-UFC star Jeremy Stephens.<\/p>\n<p>A victory over former two-time Bellator featherweight titleholder Daniel Straus got Rivera back on track, but the aforementioned loss to Stewart was another setback. With back-to-back wins over Mason and Meyer, \u201cEl Terror\u201d will mull his future over.<\/p>\n<p>During the BKFC 95 post-fight press conference, Rivera was asked if he\u2019s now here to stay after coming out of retirement.
