Less than two weeks after Bayside Lounge announced it was closing<\/a>, a neighbour has made a similar declaration.<\/p>\n

Hook Seabar is closing.<\/p>\n

“After 10 amazing years, Hook Restaurant would like to publicly say goodbye,” reads a post from the restaurant on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The last day for the closing restaurant is Oct. 30.<\/p>\n

“It has been an honour to have served this beachside corner for all these years and become a part of an irreplaceable community,” continues the post.<\/p>\n

“We will never forget you, so I hope you never forget us.”<\/p>\n

Hook is known as an affordable, laid-back seafood spot offering a wide variety<\/a> of ocean-inspired meals, from fish-and-chips to sous-vide octopus. It also has a raw bar, with caviar, ceviche, and tuna tartare.<\/p>\n

It’s leaving\u00a01210 Denman St, where it opened in 2017. Prior to that, the location was a milestones.<\/p>\n
