\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s \u201cPatient Zero\u201d leads the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> for a third total and consecutive week, having debuted as her 16th career No. 1.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe single is one of four new cuts on the deluxe version, released Sept. 25, of Swift\u2019s 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Dominic Fike<\/a> earns his first Hot 100 top 10 as the resurgent \u201cBabydoll\u201d jumps three spots to No. 10. Originally released in 2018, the song entered the chart in February. In April, it became a top three hit on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S.; it has since remained in the top 40 of both charts continuously.<\/p>\n

\t\u2018Patient Zero\u2019 Streams, Airplay & Sales<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPatient Zero,\u201d on Republic Records, totaled 12.8 million official streams (down 27% week over week), 28.2 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 8%), 27,000 downloads sold (up 246%) and 151,000 physical copies sold (up 12%) in the U.S. Oct. 9-15.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe track drops 2-3 on the Streaming Songs<\/a> chart after a week at No. 1; holds at its No. 15 high on Radio Songs<\/a>; and logs a third week at No. 1 on Digital Song Sales<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tBoosting the song\u2019s totals in the tracking week were the arrivals of its acoustic and piano versions, for digital download and on streaming services, and its 7-inch vinyl version sold in Swift\u2019s webstore.<\/p>\n

\tA Year\u2019s Worth of No. 1s<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPatient Zero\u201d gives Swift a 52nd week career week atop the Hot 100, combining all her chart-toppers. She is one of five acts with the milestone equivalent of a year or more at No. 1 over the list\u2019s 68-year history.<\/p>\n

\n\tDominic Fike\u2019s \u201cBabydoll\u201d climbs 13-10 on the Hot 100, led by 48.4 million in radio reach (up 4%), along with 5.6 million streams, in the tracking week.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Florida native charted four previous Hot 100 entries (which peaked between Nos. 81 and 99) in 2021-25 before \u201cBabydoll\u201d broke through, thanks, in large part, to new traction on TikTok. He has since added a second top 40 hit, \u201cWhite Keys,\u201d which reached No. 32 in April.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn Billboard Philippines\u2019 July digital issue cover story<\/a>, Fike mused about the new attention on \u201cBabydoll,\u201d which was released on his 2018 EP, Don\u2019t Forget About Me, Demos. \u201cI was making an album in upstate New York, and it was just me and, like, five dudes \u2026 we were in a cabin in hoodies, drinking coffee,\u201d he said of the song\u2019s ascent at last. \u201cThe initial shock of it was very chill \u2026 and then I got to live out the reality of it happening, which was cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFike\u2019s third studio album, How To Quit Smoking, is due Oct. 30.<\/p>\n

\n\tElla Langley\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d holds at No. 2 following its record<\/a> 24 weeks<\/a> atop the Hot 100. It concurrently ties Mariah Carey\u2019s \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d for the most weeks \u2013 26 \u2013 totaled at No. 1 on Streaming Songs (19.8 million, down 5%, Oct. 9-15). \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d also leads the multimetric Hot Country Songs<\/a> chart for a 45th week, matching Shaboozey\u2019s \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy),\u201d from 2024, for the second-longest No. 1 run; Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line\u2019s \u201cMeant To Be\u201d dominated for 50 weeks in 2017-18.<\/p>\n

\n\tStella Lefty\u2019s \u201cBoston\u201d keeps at No. 3 on the Hot 100 and Morgan Wallen\u2019s \u201cBeen by Now\u201d is steady at No. 4, with both having hit No. 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tTame Impala and JENNIE\u2019s \u201cDracula\u201d lifts a spot back to its No. 5 Hot 100 high. It rules the multimetric Hot Dance\/Electronic Songs<\/a> chart for a 41st week and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs<\/a> for a 23rd, as it tops Radio Songs for a fifth frame (63.7 million, up 2%).<\/p>\n

\n\tAD\u00c9LA\u2019s \u201cNicole Kidman\u201d ascends 9-6 for a new Hot 100 best; Ariana Grande\u2019s \u201cHate That I Made You Love Me\u201d holds at No. 7, after it led in its debut week in June; and Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s \u201cStupid Song\u201d repeats at No. 8, after peaking at No. 3.<\/p>\n

\n\tPlus, Karol G\u2019s \u201cBbY WOW,\u201d with Judeline and rusowsky, rises 10-9 on the Hot 100, after reaching No. 6. It\u2019s No. 1 on the multimetric Hot Latin Songs<\/a> chart for a ninth week.<\/p>\n
