After a decade of operation, Hook Restaurant has shared the news that it will be closing its doors before the end of the month.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt has been an honour to have served this beachside corner for all these years and become a part of an irreplaceable community. We will never forget you, so I hope you never forget us,\u201d wrote the restaurant.<\/p>\n
Hook has been a go-to spot in English Bay since it opened back in 2017. The restaurant is best known for its oyster bar and seafood offerings, as well as its dog-friendly patio.<\/p>\n
Its final day of operation will be Oct. 30.<\/p>\n
Many people took to the comments to share how much they would miss the seafood spot.<\/p>\n
\u201c[I] will never get over the loss of this place, from my local to my workplace and where I went to see friends and family. [I] will forever miss it,\u201d wrote one person.<\/p>\n

However, one commenter did point out that Hook is located just steps away from the soon-to-close Bayside Lounge<\/a>, which will shutter after 47 years of operation<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe know this news will be deeply felt by our entire bayside family.
