The Argos’ pivot came up hobbling before taking a knee, but was able to walk off under his own power.

Nick Arbuckle came on to replace Kelly as the Argos eventually lost 40-39, giving the Redblacks their first win of the season.

The 32-year-old Kelly was also a late scratch for the team’s 24-17 loss to the BC Lions in Week 18 with a hand injury.

Kelly has thrown for a career-high 5,067 yards with 33 touchdowns compared to 24 interceptions this season.
