It will also promote collaboration among students, businesses, investors, and institutions to drive entrepreneurship and national development.

A key objective is to position young people not merely as job seekers but as job creators, innovators, and contributors to Ghana’s economic growth.

The initiative is expected to complement the government’s broader entrepreneurship agenda, including the Adwumawura Programme, which seeks to support young entrepreneurs, promote business creation, and expand employment opportunities.

However, building successful businesses requires more than innovative ideas. Young entrepreneurs also need access to training, mentorship, financing, technology and markets to turn their ideas into sustainable ventures.

The NEIP-SWIM partnership seeks to bring these critical resources closer to young innovators while creating opportunities for them to develop businesses that can compete in an increasingly technology-driven economy.

Beyond entrepreneurship, the alliance is intended to help young people apply their skills and creativity to address societal challenges, develop practical solutions and contribute to long-term economic development.

Its success, however, will depend on how effectively the partnership translates its objectives into practical programmes and measurable outcomes, including the number of young people trained, businesses established, jobs created, and innovations developed.

Collaboration with educational institutions, private businesses, investors, and development partners will also be essential to ensure that the initiative delivers sustainable and inclusive benefits across Ghana.

The launch of the Africa Tomorrow Innovation Alliance marks a new effort to connect youth innovation with entrepreneurship and employment, with the broader goal of preparing Ghanaian and African talent for emerging opportunities in the global economy.

NEIP, SWIM launch alliance to turn youth ideas into businesses The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) and…

[15
45,49,48,137
post-939988","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entrepreneurship","tag-business","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-entrepreneurship
["GET
