Yema\u2019s Mill\u00e9sime series<\/a> represents the most elaborate example of its watchmaking ambitions, offering French manufacturing and complications rarely encountered at this price level, in limited production series. Following last year\u2019s Superman Tourbillon Mill\u00e9sime CMM.31<\/a>, the brand introduces a very different creation for 2026, potentially its most ambitious to date: the Spacegraf Heure Sid\u00e9rale Tourbillon Volant. Here, Yema<\/a> pairs a tourbillon regulator with a celestial display inspired by the astronomical observations that helped establish Besan\u00e7on as a centre of French watchmaking. It\u2019s a connection that goes back to 1878, when the Besan\u00e7on Observatory was created to help local watchmakers regulate their timepieces through astronomical observations.<\/p>\n

The Spacegraf Heure Sid\u00e9rale Tourbillon Volant is housed in a 42mm Grade 5 titanium case measuring 12.15mm thick. The curved case exhibits a variety of contrasting brushed finishes and some polished accents. Sharp angles define the lugs, while the double-domed sapphire crystal tops the case. The fluted 3 o\u2019clock crown features the Yema logo. The sapphire crystal caseback offers a clear view of the movement. Water resistance is 100m.<\/p>\n

Unlike the Superman Tourbillon Mill\u00e9sime, which combined a tourbillon with the traditional architecture of a professional dive watch, the Spacegraf has a dial dedicated to astronomy. Its layout centres on the celestial disc at 12 o\u2019clock and the flying tourbillon at 6. The black dial features a fine sandblasted texture beneath a black PVD coating, framed by a circular-brushed minutes track, with double-digit numerals to mark 5-minute intervals. Apart from the flying tourbillon, the main attraction is the rotating celestial disc, which completes one revolution every sidereal day: 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds. Unlike a 24-hour display, sidereal time measures Earth\u2019s rotation relative to distant stars rather than the Sun.<\/p>\n

The central handset indicates time, with a small hand mounted on top of the tourbillon cage to show the running seconds. The hands, hour-marker ring, minutes track, ring framing the celestial disc aperture, and graduated frame around the tourbillon all glow in dark blue, with some elements shaped from solid Super-LumiNova blocks.<\/p>\n

The new Spacegraf Heure Sid\u00e9rale Tourbillon Volant is powered by the calibre manufacture CMM.32, produced in Morteau, France. It builds on the movement construction used for Yema\u2019s previous tourbillon models<\/a> and was developed with watchmaker Olivier Mory<\/a>. A large barrel delivers a power reserve of 105 hours, and the movement is designed to withstand shocks, vibrations and accelerations of up to 5,000 Gs in all directions. Through the display caseback, the movement is finished in blue and decorated with a celestial map, while the barrel cover, in a different shade of blue, represents the world map.<\/p>\n

The Yema Spacegraf Heure Sid\u00e9rale Tourbillon Volant Mill\u00e9sime 2026 is worn on a black leather strap with matching black stitching, closed with a titanium pin buckle.
