PK Carsport did not just celebrate Vittorio Ghirelli\u2019s historic three-peat. The Belgian team also clinched their first Endurance Teams crown, cementing their status as one of European NASCAR\u2019s leading powerhouse teams. A third-place finish for the #24 squad \u2013 driven by the history making Ghirelli in V8GP and OPEN runner-up Thomas Dombrowski \u2013 in the Finals gave PK Carsport an insurmountable lead on the standings, allowing Anthony Kumpen and his team of mechanics to celebrate their third Teams title across all formats in front of the home fans at Circuit Zolder. Their prize for their latest triumph is more than just a trophy: They also secured the official NASCAR Euro Series toolbox, provided by series partners Rousseau Metal to the newly crowned Teams champion.<\/p>\n
The NASCAR Euro Series Endurance Teams Championship format, which rewards the car that completes the most combined laps in the least amount of time, emphasizes on the three elements that PK Carsport has in spades: consistency, speed and teamwork. The dynamic duo of Ghirelli and Dombrowski was a well-oiled machine, delivering not just top tier results, but also a high rate of finishes.<\/p>\n
In the 24 races that were held across V8GP and OPEN, Ghirelli and Dombrowski scored a combined total of three wins and 17 top-5 finishes. More importantly, they only failed to see the checkered flag twice: Once by Dombrowski in the opener at Spain and once by Ghirelli in Czechia. Even during these bad days, they still greatly minimized their damages and that was the key for PK Carsport to make their return to the top step.<\/p>\n
Ghirelli and Dombrowski executed the round in France and the UK perfectly and claimed the round wins home. With two top-10 finishes in Spain and Czechia, they marked the #24 Chevrolet Camaro squad as the team to beat in the double points Playoffs. Second place in Italy extended their lead further and the title was secured once they crossed the finish line at the end of the Finals.<\/p>\n
With 277 points, the #24 team finished with a 23 points lead to the #50 Hendriks Motorsport squad. Completing the top-5 positions were the #6 Speedhouse team, the #11 Alumitec Racing squad and the #99 BS+BREMOTION outfit, who trailed the Belgian team by 35, 37 and 48 points respectively. All four teams are incredible in their own right, but they were not able to maximize their results the way that PK Carsport did in the 2026 season.<\/p>\n
PK Carsport is already one of the most decorated teams to have ever graced the world of European NASCAR and their list of accomplishments only grows more with their success in the 2026 season.
