{"id":943627,"date":"2026-10-23T19:54:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-23T19:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/943627\/"},"modified":"2026-10-23T19:54:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-23T19:54:10","slug":"toronto-police-charge-man-wanted-in-2-sexual-assault-investigations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/943627\/","title":{"rendered":"Toronto police charge man wanted in 2 sexual assault investigations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with two separate sexual assault investigations involving girls in Etobicoke. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The first incident happened on Oct. 15, at around 12:30 p.m., in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Royal York Road, near Amos Waites Park. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police say an underage female victim was walking with a friend at the time when a man approached them and complimented her on her outfit. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before running away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The next incident happened two days later, on Oct. 17, at around 2 p.m., in the area of The Queensway and Islington Avenue. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">An underage female victim was with her family in the area when a man approached her and complimented her outfit. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said that as girl tried to move away from him, the suspect sexually assaulted her. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect ran away after the victim\u2019s mother confronted him, police said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tps.ca\/media-centre\/news-releases\/67189\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tps.ca\/media-centre\/news-releases\/67189\/\">news release on Friday<\/a>, Toronto police said they arrested Terrance James Noonan, of Toronto.
