TAMPA, Fla. \u2013 The University of Memphis (7-2-5, 2-0-4 American) men’s soccer team remained unbeaten in American Conference play with a 5-1 win over South Florida (1-11-3, 0-5-2 American) Friday night in Corbett Stadium. \u00a0

\nAfter a scoreless first half, Memphis peppered South Florida’s Marcus Steinhaeuser with shots, scoring five in the second half to comfortably secure three points to keep pace with the top of the American table.<\/p>\n

\n\tMemphis extends its active unbeaten streak to five matches, going 3-0-2 over that stretch with 14 goals scored in those contests.
\n\tThe Tigers are now unbeaten in their first six conference matches for the first time in program history, surpassing the previous mark of five in 1992 as a member of the Great Midwest Conference.
