<\/p>\nRegion of Peel \u2013 Investigators with the 11 Division Community Intervention Response Team (CIRT) and 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) have arrested and charged an individual following a drug trafficking investigation in Mississauga.<\/p>\n
In September 2026, officers with 11 Division CIRT commenced an investigation following community complaints of drug trafficking in the Meadowvale area.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Oct. 10, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Derry Road.<\/p>\n
As a result of the search, investigators seized four firearms, including one 9mm automatic machine gun, three handguns, along with a large quantity of drugs, including cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, cannabis, hashish and prescription pills.<\/p>\n

Daniel Ross, a 40 year-old from Mississauga has been arrested and charged with the following offences:<\/p>\n

\nKnowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
\nCareless Storage of Firearm
\nPossession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
\nUnauthorized Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
\nUnauthorized Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition x3
\nPossession of Proceeds of Crime
\nPossession for the Purpose \u2013 Schedule I x4
\nPossession for the Purpose \u2013 Schedule III x3
\nPossession for the Purpose of Distributing Cannabis x2<\/p>\n
