He had one assist in six games before his injury.<\/p>\n<p>A Tanev return would be beneficial to a Maple Leafs blue line struggling with injuries. Nick Blankenburg and Marshall Rifai, who were filling in for Tanev, were both placed on injured reserve last week.<\/p>\n<p>Tanev has struggled to stay healthy over the past two seasons. He appeared in just 11 games last season due to multiple injuries and underwent season-ending core muscle surgery in March.<\/p>\n<p>The Maple Leafs have won four straight games and will look to stretch that to five against the Calgary Flames on Monday Night Hockey on Sportsnet+ at 8:30 p.m. ET \/ 5:30 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsnet.ca\/hockey\/nhl\/players\/sergei-bobrovsky\/433d0416-0f24-11e2-8525-18a905767e44\" class=\"sn-player-post-link\" target=\"_self\" data-player=\"433d0416-0f24-11e2-8525-18a905767e44\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a> is projected to get the start in net.
