The Canadian astronaut, who took a trip around the moon earlier this year, will be giving a talk in downtown Vancouver.<\/p>\n
One of the select few people to have his view of Earth blocked by the moon will be speaking in Vancouver.<\/p>\n
Canadian Space Agency astronaut Col. Jeremy Hansen was part of the historic Artemis II mission, which sent humans farther into space than ever before as they looped around the Moon.<\/p>\n
Now back on Earth, he’s booked a slightly less arduous journey through downtown Vancouver to the Westin Bayshore, where he’ll be giving a talk about ambition and the mission itself.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, Hansen will be giving a motivational talk of sorts, focusing on making the moonshots.<\/p>\n
“In this visually stunning and deeply personal keynote \u2014 featuring breathtaking video and imagery \u2014 he brings audiences behind the scenes of his journey, sharing the intense planning, rigorous training, and awe-inspiring reality of a lunar flyby,” reads a description of the event.<\/p>\n
Tickets for the event are $150 for members and $300 for non-members. Students can pay a discounted $99 for ticket.<\/p>\n
