Kim Kardashian vulnerably recalled how her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., predicted her success in their final conversation before he died of cancer in 2003.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last thing my dad ever said to me was, \u2018I know you\u2019re going to be good \u2014 I can see it,’\u201d the Skims founder told author Jonathan Van Meter in a new biography about her life titled \u201cCitizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future<\/a>,\u201d per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s as if I can see what your whole life is going to be like,\u2019\u201d the businesswoman remembered the late lawyer telling her. \u201cMy dad didn\u2019t go into detail, and he was kind of in and out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim Kardashian detailed her last conversation with her father, Robert Kardashian Sr., before he died of cancer in 2003. (Seen here: Kim and Robert Sr.) Kim Kardashian\/ X<\/p>\n The businesswoman told author Jonathan Van Meter about the conversation in a new biography about her life, \u201cCitizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future.\u201d<\/p>\n Kim, now 46, reflected on how she and Robert Sr., who was 59 when he died, were watching a movie leading up to his death.<\/p>\n \u201cHe put his hand on my leg,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ll never forget it. And I was laying next to him on this couch \u2014 this L-shaped couch \u2014 and we were kinda squished in this way.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd he said, \u2018You\u2019ll be fine. But take care of the other ones. And make sure your brother\u2019s good,’\u201d she continued, referring to her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian, now 47, Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian, now 42, and younger brother, Robert Kardashian Jr., now 39.<\/p>\n \u201cThe last thing my dad ever said to me was, \u2018I know you\u2019re going to be good \u2014 I can see it,’\u201d she recalled Robert Sr. telling her. (Seen here: Kim, Robert Sr., and Kourtney Kardashian.) kim kardashian\/ instagram<\/p>\n Kim also reflected on her final words to Robert Sr., when he was bedridden and \u201ccouldn\u2019t communicate.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI knew his vitals were almost gone, and the last thing I said to him was, \u2018Dad, thank you so much for everything that you\u2019ve taught me, from how to be a good person, to how you did my homework with me, everything I\u2019m going to do with my kids one day,’\u201d she told the patriarch. <\/p>\n \u201c\u2018And I\u2019m going to take the lesson of you being in my life and carry that forward.\u201d\u2019 <\/p>\n The Skims founder also shared how Robert Sr. told her to take care of her siblings.
