As part of the this, the IAGR will roll out CheckBeforeYouPlay.org, where players can enter a gambling site\u2019s URL to see if it is licensed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Campaign materials will be made available to all IAGR members ahead of IAGW. These will include short videos, social media content and key talking points \u2013 all available in English and Spanish.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe reach of online gambling makes this a shared challenge for regulators,\u201d said Ben Haden, president of the IAGR. \u201cBy coordinating our consumer communications, we can help more people understand why local licensing matters and where to find reliable information before they engage with an operator.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>IAGR chief warns of mistaking visibility for trust\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kevin Mullally (pictured), who was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/next.io\/news\/people\/iagr-welcomes-kevin-mullally-as-first-ceo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">appointed as the first CEO of the IAGR<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year, also talked up the campaign. He said it will encourage consumers to research websites properly before spending money or sharing personal information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those using unlicensed websites may be faced with unpaid winnings, limited options for resolving disputes and misuse of information, he suggested.
