The logo additionally features four stars in the “H”, one for each of the Comets’ WNBA Championships.

Houston was the first dynasty in WNBA history, winning four consecutive titles from 1997-2000. Those four championships have them tied with the Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm for the most all time.

It was announced they were coming back when Tilman Fertitta, owner of the NBA’s Houston Rockets, purchased the Sun and moved the franchise.

The Houston Comets are now officially back.
