Calgary, AB \u2013\u00a0The Calgary Wranglers fell 2-1 to the Laval Rocket on Saturday afternoon at the Scotiabank Saddledome, dropping to 6-6-0 on the season.<\/p>\n
After a scoreless\u00a0first\u00a0period, Alex Nylander<\/a> opened the scoring six minutes into the second, netting his fourth goal of the season with assists from Luke Philp<\/a> and Mike Benning<\/a> to give Calgary a 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n \u00a0However, Laval responded with a shorthanded goal from Jared Davidson at 14:59 of the second period to even the score at 1-1 heading into the final frame.
